On June 11 and 12, the children's and youth games of the district of Leipzig took place. Some girls and boys from our all-day tennis program took part. On Saturday Lennard Schumann started in Grimma in the U12 large field and took a very good 3rd place. On Sunday Enna Mertens, Moritz Pohl, Vincent Pfefferkorn, Liv Herrschelmann and Lukas Müller followed. They competed in the U10 small field. Liv Herrschelmann was able to secure the silver medal among the female participants, Vincent Pfefferkorn also took silver among the male starters.

Spurred on by such great successes, our students took on the sports badge in the last GTA lesson. They achieved gold twice, silver once and bronze once.

We are very proud of our young athletes and congratulate them on their fantastic successes. Our special thanks go to Mr. Dirk Schumann, without whose training this would not have been possible. Of course we hope for a successful repetition next year.
