On the last day of school before the Easter break, the Pandas made their way to Priessnitz.
When the children arrived at school early, they were already surprised by the Easter bunny. They proudly held the Easter bags they had made in German class and looked at their new book.
After a relaxed breakfast together, we got ready for our hiking day. The bus hadn't arrived yet. We used the time to take a group photo. After the freezing temperatures in the morning, it was now a little warmer and the sun was shining especially for us. The bus finally arrived, we drove to Priessnitz and our hike began. The children discovered the smallest things along the way. They spotted traces of the Easter bunny several times, jumped over puddles, sang the song "Im Wald da kann man joggen gehen ..." and listened to the birds singing. We reached a large meadow about halfway along the route. The children spread out their blankets and bit hungrily into their sandwiches. We ate comfortably, chatted and explored.
Suddenly, Mrs. Frommhold saw the Easter bunny. She pointed in the direction where he had hopped and said that he had lost something in between. In an instant, all the pandas jumped up and went in search of it. Lo and behold, everyone found an Easter bunny. The children played for a while and then we set off on our way back. Again, many Easter bunny tracks were spotted. The pandas even tried to lure the Easter bunny with the poem "Easter message" and the song "Nudge the little Easter bunny". It was a successful outing. Happy and tired, we were picked up on time by the bus in Priessnitz and drove back to school.
