A christmas carol

Once upon a time, on a cozy Friday in December...

Just as St. Nicholas was sneaking through the rooms of the IPSG in the morning, the smell of cookies, cakes, children's punch and mulled wine wafts through the school building in the afternoon. This can only mean that our Christmas market has taken place.

On December 6, all the children of the IPSG invited their parents, friends and relatives to our Christmas market. The miserable weather outside made everyone shiver, but the children warmed our hearts again with a great Christmas program with English and Spanish songs, dances and poems.

Afterwards, around 250 guests strolled to our stands. In addition to coffee, mulled wine and cake, the children were able to spin the wheel of fortune and win great prizes, make Christmas gifts such as bath salts and fairy lights, make Christmas cards, play games or decorate gingerbread hearts. As every year, a special highlight was Santa's visit. The self-written wish lists could be handed in directly and those who also recited a poem or sang a song received a chocolate lolly as an advance 😉

The evening ended in a cozy atmosphere in the best time of the year and many guests were already looking forward to continuing their feasting in our secondary schools from 5 pm.
